You lay in your room, resting your head, the soft pillow acts as a cloud against your head. The bed itself is the foundation with which you dream. Though your dreams are weak lately, nothing more than static as though watching an awful and broken TV. A small sound rings in your ear, "bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt", it doesn't seem to end.

You toss and turn in your sleep because of the noise.

DESTROY THE SOURCE OF THE SOUND

You attempt to punch this awful TV. The glass shatters and cuts your hand, the blood drips onto the floor. Making a new 'sploosh' sounds to replace the missing "Bzzzt" noise. The static may be gone but there is now a large crack in your TV, it may be awful but it entertained you well. As you stare at the broken TV you see a single left eye with a smile coming from the blackness behind the broken screen.

Pretend that you can't see it, go back to bed.

    ...Please.

You close your eyes, but they were already closed, so you open them. Climbing out of bed you look around your room. The computer rests on a desk in the corner of your room with broken speakers. There is a door to outside, and a door to your closet, along with a window to the street outside. There is much light coming from outside despite it being night time, frankly you hate this neighborhood because it is always so busy. There is little to do in your room aside from watch the traffic, talk to your friends online, enter your closet, or stare at the building across the street.

So little to do, why is life so boring?

    Wait...something's going on here...

    Into the closet!

The closet is always interesting, a variety of wardrobes can be made and you do enjoy a bit of dress-up, even if passer-bys may judge you for it. You go towards the closet and reach for the door handle, as you're about to turn the handle and open the door you hear a garbled notification sound 'ping' from your computer. You must have left it on, and it seems one of your friends is messaging you. Though you don't know time zone differences very well, you have mainly friends from foreign countries because they're more interesting than those of your land.

    The closet can wait.

Where the hell are those noises coming from?

And who's talking to you now?

You peer at the screen, it seems your Russian friend is messaging you. You enjoy talking to him sometimes, but he can get a bit of an attitude. You sit down at your computer desk and answer him as to get rid of that dreadful noise. You begin by typing a simple message, a greeting.
'bweem' the messenger goes as you send your message.

You: What noises? You mean the messenger sounds?
RussIan: Maybe, but I heard a 'sploosh' and 'ping'.
You: I hear those too, so maybe its just coincidence.
    RussIan: Probably.
You: So was that all you wanted to talk about?
RussIan: Yeah, unless you have something you want to discuss?

    RussIan: Anything else?
You: An eye with a smile.

Your friend is a dick. Contact him through his email and ask him what the hell is wrong with him.
  13. MadameSB

    MadameSB Hot blooded

You don't have email, in fact you don't actually have the capability to go to any websites. You don't seem to actually have any internet connection, so the fact that your messenger works is a case of dumb luck. Besides, you know he can get like this. Its best to just forget about him and get back to whatever you were doing before the interruption, which was to enter the closet. You get back up and return to the closet, opening the door you see a multitude of outfits hanging from hangars inside. Plenty of nice outfits to wear and try on, even some nice hats. The alarm on your clock goes off with a 'een een', this is around the time traffic begins to pick up pace, so you marked it down with your alarm so you'd know it was about to happen.

    How you hate traffic.

Why do you hate traffic so much?
  15. MadameSB

    MadameSB Hot blooded

The cars, the lights, the endless activity drives you mad! You'll get a headache if you even think about all that damned traffic. The orange glow of the street burns your eyes and the sound of cars honking their horns is like a claw being slashed at your ears. It is an endless nightmare you can not stand and try to avoid in every way you can. Usually by going to sleep, you are a pretty heavy sleeper, so you don't even notice the cars when you're asleep.

Maybe its time to go to bed.

    Turn of the alarm.

    Fix up your hand.

    Go to bed.

You move to turn off the alarm clock, good god was that thing getting on your nerves. Peering at your hand you notice you're bleeding, must be from when you cut it whilst punching that old TV you threw out last week. Bandaging it up with some paper towels, you then go to lie down in bed, as soon as your head hits the pillow and you close your eyes the traffic seems to stop. What a bummer, now there really isn't a reason to be in bed, you get up out of it and look around your room again. The computer screen is flashing a soft blueish-gray, the window that leads to outside gives off its same energetic orange glow, the door to outside remains locked as always, and your closet door is open, letting in an awful draft. Y

Sure is getting cold in here.
  19. Triangle Man

    Triangle Man Cautiously Optimistic

    Investigate computer screen, please.
  20. MadameSB

    MadameSB Hot blooded

You go up to inspect your computer screen, the blueish-gray flashing would hurt your eyes if they weren't closed. The background oddly isn't the color the screen is actually flashing, in fact the background image is actually something you've never seen before, which is very peculiar. You don't normally like abstract art but this particular piece seems to be just fine in your book. The blueish-gray flashing seems to be coming from text that reads "RUSSIAN IS DEAD". Certainly a negative message, but frankly you don't believe it. Your computer has said crap like this before. The draft is beginning to be a nuisance, you can see frost already getting on your screen, and you can even see your breath.

The cold is bothersome, if not relaxing.
