This is a thread for talking about televisions and television programs.

I've been watching Pushing Daisies recently. I can't get enough of this show, which is unfortunate, because only 22 episodes were produced. (Thanks a lot, writer's strike.) The show has flaws for sure, but the delicious premise more than makes up for its shortcomings.

also it has Kristen freaking Chenoweth

There was no tv thread. this tradgedy has now been remedied.

So, what have you been watching recently?

Personally I have just started watching BSG and have seen 2 seasons of Breaking Bad in the last few weeks.

    Merged the posts.
Mostly to see if I could.
    I can

I don't watch a lot of TV, but I do like buying seasons of shows on DVD or watching them on Netflix.
Recently it's been The Highlander, Hercules (with Kevin Sorbo) and Quantum Leap.
I also watch a lot of cartoons, like Metalocalypse and Clone high, as well as stuff for a younger audience like Danny Phantom and Billy & Mandy.

Anyone watching Bones? I love Bones. Haven't seen the latest season though.

My roommate loves bones, and I know what I assume is a pretty sweet spoiler for the last season because of it.
    Wanna hear it?
Nah I'm teasing I wont spoil it. :p

It's another crime show right? I love Law and Order, especially since has informed me that Law and Order: SVU takes place in the same universe as the X-Files. God that is too cool to pass up.

Yeah, it follows FBI agent Seeley Booth and Antropologist Temperance "Bones" Brennan. They polar opposites because Booth is a charming guy who like to rely on his gut feeling while Brennan is strictly logical and terrible at socializing.

which uh, you might already know. derp derp derp

Nope. When I saw them they were all acting like weirdos at a bowling alley, so I had no real idea what their characterizations were or what they were doing.
All I know is that my friend hit my every time I started rooting for everything to go wrong :p I like being a pain in the ass.

currently the two teevee shows I've been watching are Louie and Archer. I sort of got forced into watching Archer by one of my friends and I expected it to just be a lot of generic humping jokes and pop culture references and it sort of is but it's also surprisingly funny and well-written and the cast is fantastic. So I recommend it.

    Well played Atomic, Well played.
I wish I'd gotten into X-files back in the day, since I love paranormal stuff and it's was pretty much THE paranormal show of the 90's, but I just never did. I was more of a Twilight Zone and Outer Limits viewer.

I like Louie a lot, but I haven't really watch Archer that much.
Jon H. Benjamin is a great comedian actor though,
Liked him a lot in Demetri Martin's show, and his new show

Been watching King of the Hill lately.
Never knew it had so many episodes.
    I'll never finish the series!

    And regarding Archer,
it really is a great show.
To be honest my family has watched it so much we practically know certain episodes by heart.
    Almost, being the key word.
So yeah, watch it if you get the chance.

Community is back (aka best show on tv)! So good... there's that, Parks and Rec (also amazing) and Archer...
also new season of regular show is up an running! and adventure time! and the pony episode was fun last week.

in short, tv is good enough right now.

about halfway into season 4 of the wire on my end. up to around the end of season 4 of The Larry Sanders Show and mid-season 4 of Curb. and 4 episodes into party down.

and I have to watch the x-files for homework... so strange.

Recently started watching Dr.Who when I get the chance to.
I can finally understand what I was missing out on.

The 9th doctor is kind of awesome.
  19. Triangle Man

    Triangle Man Cautiously Optimistic

You have made a wise decision. It is a great show.

Of course, I have to say that if the 9th Doctor was cool, the 10th Doctor was even more cool-er.
  20. Seconded.

I'm trying to get through all the old ones. I actually really like the first Doctor.
